It happens at sunset…
In that magic, liminal, sacred space when day slows, the world pauses, and night unfolds.
A short saunter from the Soirée site sits a small aspen grove. Bent, weathered, and worn, it faces west towards the setting sun.
Here, atop a small stage, amidst the trees and amongst all our loved ones, we will have a short ceremony, at sunset, to commemorate the day, celebrate our way, and sanctify the vow to love each other, across all time.
The ceremony will (very untraditionally, but intentionally!) come after the afternoon’s sharing of meals, stories, and speeches. We want people to feel comfortable together: softening, smiling, sharing in the moment… with full glasses in hand, hoot-n-hollers hearty, and cheers at the ready!
After we can dance the night away under the stars!
Please note: due to a very large posse of epic and awesome humans who love us, we decided not to do structured seating. Most will be standing, though we do have some seats available for immediate family and our elders (don’t worry! It’ll be short!).
